Speedy 2000 Moisture Tester, 20g
Description
The Speedy™ Moisture Tester is used throughout the testing community to measure the moisture content of materials including soils, aggregates, concrete, sand, and powders.
A portable system, the device is comprised of a cast aluminum vessel with an integral pressure gauge, an electronic balance with large scale pad, and a molded waterproof and shockproof carry case.
To use, a small sample of material is prepared, weighed, and placed in the vessel. Reagent is added to the vessel, then shaken to mix with the sample. Moisture within the sample reacts with the reagent to produce a gas and pressure rise proportional to the amount of moisture. The moisture content value is read directly from the calibrated pressure gauge.
